This Candlelight Fund has been set up in loving memory of Daniel O'Leary. Daniel was known and loved by people across the world through his writing, retreats and pastoral ministry. His message that we are loved unconditionally and forever by a God who only ever delights in us brought hope and healing. Daniel's fifty-nine years of priestly ministry gave witness to his deep faith and loving compassion, especially to people struggling in any way. Above all, his passion was for us to understand that God became human in Jesus to reveal that all is already divine and that we experience God's love in our everyday human encounters. Daniel's own life-long desire was to become more authentically human. He always tried to stand in solidarity with our sisters and brothers in the global family, especially at times of extreme need. To honour this, all donations will go to support CAFOD's Disasters and Emergencies Fund. Your generosity in donating in thanksgiving for Daniel is much appreciated. May his light continue to shine throughout the world.
